Burdened by Weakness

                                                             printable view

D isplaying your weakness for all to see is like displaying your Personal Identification Number (PIN) or making your password public information. We all have some type of weakness, that is part of being human. The trick is to try and hide them from those who will exploit them in a malicious way. Failing to do this means you will be at the mercy of those who don't have your best interest at heart.

They will control you as though you were a remote device. The idea of someone pressing a button to cause you to react is incomprehensible but it happens. Reacting to the pressing of a button is a huge character flaw that is found mostly among the weak minded.

I'm here to tell you that to securing your areas of weakness is equivalent to installing a force field around you that guards against the evil forces of gamesmanship and politics. To go through life portraying seemingly no weakness of any kind is the goal to shoot for.

Having the ability to achieve such a status isn't easy but it is a worthy goal that pays immeasurable dividends. The choice between having the ability, verses not caring about having the ability, can be the difference between happiness and madness. The ability to not shed light on your weakness starts with self-control.

Too many of us are struggling with self-control; the reason being, we have forgotten where it comes from. Self-control isn't something you work hard at and earn. No, it is something you pray to have bestowed upon you. There is a humbling aspect that surrounds self-control, in that it is priceless, yet we all can afford it if at very little cost.

Self-control is within easy reach of all of us, so there are no excuses. The only thing that stands in the way of obtaining self-control is weakness. Weakness as in the refusal to commit oneself to the fact that this world is just an illusion and offers very little that has real value.

There is a lot out there but it is all an illusion that soon leads to nowhere. Being able to see the world at face-value is both a blessing and a curse. A blessing because you can see the falsities and therefore aren't moved by them. A curse because everybody else sees the opposite of what you see, therefore, making you miserable by having to tolerate their follies as they chase the falsities.

I wish I could tell you why the allure of falsities get valued over self-control in the eyes of so many, but I can't. I can only tell you that there are forces generating the façades of these falsities, and their intent is to entice and deceive. Enticing and deceiving are code words for Hollywood, the deception machine.

Hollywood realized it had the ability to shape minds over 50 years ago. They have been gradually pressing the accelerator on the deception mobile up to now and just recently, they decided to just go ahead and floor the damn thing. Hollywood has a lot to offer in their line of 'how to exploit weaknesses'.

They know how to beam images at you that eat at your self-control. They do it in a way that causes you to second guess yourself when it comes to things like appearance and faith. Don't let Hollywood label you with a perceive a weakness or you will be in for a long harrowing ride.

African American people are perceived by Hollywood as the people of ill repute, so they use them in all sinful and lawless scenes. Others are used in such scenes too but when you do the math on the demographic makeup of the population, you soon realize there is a disproportionate use of African Americans in scenes of low-character.

The message Hollywood sends through this tactic is very dangerous in that it tells the world to treat African Americans as people of ill repute.

Hollywood collectively is made up of several entities, most of which are just in it for the money and that is all they will ever see. There are devious elements that make up a portion of Hollywood also, and they are the ones who monitor and exploit the weakness of those who leave themselves vulnerable. Hollywood's devious side goes to great lengths to create the illusion that all things are equal and fair.

Those who buy into the illusion soon gets the red carpet pulled out from under them by reality. The thing that amazes me is how hard they fall. The methodology Hollywood deploys is very calculated and is not limited by time. If it builds you up it doesn't mean it won't tear you down later, even if it's many years down the road.

Too many are getting their queue from Hollywood. Hollywood portrays how you are suppose to react when this button or that button gets pushed. If you subscribe to the Hollywood rule for reactions, think of yourself as a fish eating off a baited hook. The best approach is to keep Hollywood guessing at what makes you tick.

N ot showing reaction when their handbook says you suppose to flip over this or that, and going berserk when the book says you are suppose to be made happy by this or that. The dark side of Hollywood is in the business of taking what has been deemed a weakness and broadcasting it to the world. This compounds your weakness because there will be many who are anxious to try to exploit it.

Don't ever lose your cool because it can lead to you having to lose your cool again and again to no end. If it is not known what makes you lose self-control, then their will be very few thrill seekers that are out to annoy you. In fact, people will begin to revere you because they don't know what to do when they are around you and that is a good thing.

Hollywood has programmed a generation and gotten them to live according to its etiquette when it comes to things like facing reality and dealing with diversity. You will find these folks awkward to deal with because their thinking is so far out of balance and lacking in substance. We have to live in this world along side all types, so make it easy on yourself and your family by not putting yourself at risk.

Walk tall with no sign of weakness no matter what. Pray and hold dear the things that really matter and all with go well with you. Here are some examples of exposing your weakness.

A new club just opened in town and they offer 2-for-1 drinks. People flock to the new club to take advantage of their special without knowing anything about who owns it or what they stand for.
Showing a willingness to settle for second best at first-rate costs.
Crying in public and telling the reason why.
Showing hurt in public and telling the reason why.
Wearing your confidence on your sleeve.
Mocking things that are sacred.
Wanting everything you see.
Opening your mouth when you don't have an education.
Trying to build a wall of security when the real danger is within.
Reacting to everything you hear in a predictable manner.
Talking too much.
